Hey Guys,
I hope everyone is looking forward to this Saturday at the Lincoln Imp. We have Forgotten Roots on their ‘You’ll Never Win’ UK tour stopping off for us along with Darlington band Misled Icons. As well as this we have local support from Stereo Epic and Zero Hour, remember this is one of your last chances to see Zero Hour before they break up, and don’t forget you can get hold of one of their CDs on the night, recorded with the prize they won at our Battle of the Bands competition last year
The fun starts at 7.30pm and its £4 on the door.
Also on another note, just to let you know that Let’s Rock Cancer have something very special planned for the end of the year to help boost funds raised for our charities.

We at Let’s Rock Cancer would like to bid a fond farewell to the legend which is Jan Price. For those that don’t know Jan Price was the landlady of the Lincoln Imp in Scunthorpe and had been for 20 years up until last Sunday, she has provided a venue for budding musicians and the local music scene throughout her tenancy and has also done lots for charity. Her help in making Let’s Rock Cancer what it is today has been invaluable and we wish her all the best for her retirement.
We love you Jan, and thank you so much for being such a awesome person and believing in our cause!

Let’s Rock Cancer would like to thank Brigg Town Council and especially the outgoing mayor of Brigg James Truepenny for the hard work and effort they have put into the Mayor’s Appeal to raise so much money for Let’s Rock Cancer. The Mayor’s Appeal this year raised an amazing £2285.04, this means Let’s Rock Cancer on Monday recieved a cheque for £1142.52. This money will go towards puting on the events which raise so much more money for charity. Keep an eye out on the horizon for more exciting events which Let’s Rock Cancer will be arranging.
Plus once the final sponsors have come in for the Lincoln 10K, we will update everyone on how much we have raised so far this year for charity
